Please help on the problems I have here...
The DVD drive started acting up a couple of days ago.
It took ages to somehow read files or write something on to CD/DVD.
Then next day it didn't read any CD/DVD at all. I couldn't watch DVDs.
In Explore, it still shows the DVD drive, but no files can be read.

Then after rebooting PC, the screen resolution went funny.
It didn't allow me to change the display settings.
Everytime I tried to change it, the screen resolution went back to 680x480 with lowest color quality.

I have followed the instruction on "READ & RUN ME FIRST BEFORE ASKING for Support" under Help & Technical Forums> Malware Removal.
I have completed the steps from 0 to 6B and have attached the log files required.

Here's what happened to each step :
0: No malware found via Add/Remove Programs
    1: Done
    2: Done
    3: Done
    4: Done
    5: CCleaner done
Spybot Search & Destroy done. Immunization done
CounterSpy done. 1 spyware found and quarantined

6A: Bitdefender done. Suspected files found and deleted
PandaActive Scan done. Few spywares found.

    6B: Done

    HijackThis has been done.

I was trying to find the updated driver for the video card, which I had wee problem and couldn't find it.
The video card is : NVIDIA GeForce2 MX/MX400
The monitor is: Acer AL1913, but at the moment the system is picking up as "Plug and Play" monitor

    Welcome to Majorgeeks!

Sorry but you are in the wrong forum. Your problems are not malware. Your logs are clean. You should be posting in the Hardware Forum! You may want to try things like below:
    • reinstalling drivers for your hardware
    • delete the devices using Device Manager and reboot and then let Windows relocate and load the drivers.
    • check cables on your DVD drive to make sure they are properly connected
There are more things like this that can be suggested but again this is not the forum for this topic.

I do suggest that you uninstall CounterSpy now to avoid conflicts with Ewido that you already have installed.
