Request for new MGs feature

OK...this may already exist, but I just haven't found it yet.

Sometimes I don't want to read a thread (for whatever reason) but I want to mark it as read so it quits appearing in bold. Sometimes, like if you've been away for a week and not checked in to MGs, this can be several threads, and I don't want to open each one individually and then close it simply to remove the bold the header is in.

Is there a simple check-box facility to do this somewhere? Like when you want to delete PMs you can do this? If not, is this a new feature which could be considered Tim?

 

On the main forums page list, under all the forums, next to the "forum leaders" link, is a link called "mark forums read". It'll mark everything on the board as read, leaving not one single thread marked unread. Doesn't work in individual forums, though, it's only for the entire board at once.

In each individual forum, under the "forum tools" dropdown, there is an option for marking the threads in that particular forum as read.

You lost me there. Are you referring to my 1600 posts? If so, they were made over nearly 1 year...look at my join date again.

 

Hmm, over five a day, and you still find time to hunt and fish. And hey, you just got married, right?

 

Right But when I first started coming to MGs it was a whole different story......

I never left lol. In fact, since I started working, I'm hear more than ever (if you get my drift....shhhh )

 

Gotcha
