    Hello,

I have a problem with my computer: it is rebooting unexpectidly and it won't restart easily...
I have followed the instruction of the "read and read me first before asking for support" forum
I've attached the report from bitdefender, panda active scan and hijack this.

    Thank you for your help!

Please also attach the logs from runkeys and shownew as per the instructions.

Apart from the symptoms you described are you having any other issues such as popups?

The problem you described may not be malware related, however post the rest of the logs and we will take a look.

Hello and thank you for your fastness!

I attached the logs from runkeys and shownew as you asked.

I don't have any problem with pop ups or anything else...

My computer seems to be working better now, as I didn't have any problems to start it this time, but if it is not a problem for you, tell me if it seems allright.

    Thanks again

The infected files that activescan has reported are just cookies.

The files that bitdefender has reported are all part of an infected restore point we will need to flush your restore points. The first file it found was a quarantined file from a different AV program so nothing to worry about

Your HJT log is clean, however just have it fix the following line

    O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {327C2873-E90D-4c37-AA9D-10AC9BABA46C} - (no file)

Is your isp called PROXAD ? I don't recognise it but I don't know many french ISPs lol.

I can see no evidence of malware in your logs apart from what bitdefender cleaned.

    Thank you so much!
I will do as you say... And to flush the restore point I just have to disable/enable the system restore right?

I don't really know if my isp is called proxad... i'm afraid this is chinese to me!

Do I have to keep bit defender, and counter spy?

Again thank you for your time and help!

See step one of the readme for full information on flushing system restore and setting a clean restore point.

You don't have to keep bitdefender or counterspy but they are useful tools to have. I'd reccomend you keep them both and run a scan at least once a week
