res://shdocpl.dll/blank.htm & Only The Best pop up

Hello, trying to get rid of these 2 nightmares:

my start page is set to: res://shdocpl.dll/blank.htm
& I have these pop up: "Only The Best"
also when doing a research on google another pop up: "looking for..."

I ran Hijack this and here is the file:

http://www.majorgeeks.com/images/grenade.gif Do NOT run Hijack This from the Desktop, a temp folder, or a sub-folder of C:\Documents and Settings, or choose to run it directly from the ZIP file as your backups will not be safely stored.

http://www.majorgeeks.com/images/grenade.gifBefore running HijackThis: You must close each of the following:your web browser, e-mail client, instant messenger, and programs like notepad, wordpad, MS Word etc. And any other unnecessary running programs.

still stuck with these 2 things...
tried to follow the steps and was unsucessful...

To get the most efficient help you need to help us help you first

You say "tried to follow the steps and were unsuccessful" but don't explain beyond that. Were you able to complete the on-line scans? If yes..what were the results...if not...why? Did they crash? Fail to initialize? etc. What about the other steps in the tutorial? What did you or did you not complete per the tutorial and what were the results?

Please provide this information and finish with the instructions given to you previously by bj in his first reply to you begining with "After doing ALL of the above if you still have a problem"
