reset Cisco linksys e1200 router remotely

I need steps to reset Cisco linksys e1200 router remotely using team viewer. My friend lost the password & cant login. I dont have a problem with the setup using team viewer but will I loose my remote connection when my friend resets the router?

 

Why can't he just use the reset on the back?

he can't reset the router because he can barley get into his email account Thats why I'm helping. My thoughts are when he resets (using the reset button) I will loose my remote connection to his computer which I need to login & set up his router for him

You will still lose the connection. The router will reboot when it is reset in any fashion.
