Resolution problem?

    I'm running my computer in "Dual-View" mode hooked up to my HDTV. It works fine, but I have to drag windows waaaaaaay to the right to make them appear on the TV's screen. What is the likely cause of this? I tried messing around with the resolutions but I'd rather hear from somebody. I've seen this problem on a friend's PC too so I assume its fairly common.

    Help please?
