I've been reading for days on the google redirect virus/malware. Every search I did, when I click on the link, it would redirect me to results.?????? random websites.
It also prevented me from updating my antivirus programs and from downloading new ones....including anti spyware. All three of my computers were like this.

I ending up wirelessly connecting to my neighbors open connection and did not have the problem....hmmm. It turned out my Router was infected somehow. I ended up reseting my router with the reset button on the back and updated the firmware as well(not sure if i needed to update firmware). Problem solved.

Prior to this I ran every spyware and virus checker you can think of and it didn't help.

    Hope this helps everyone.
    Cheers,

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

Just one of the many forms of DNS infections. Used to be called a WareOut infection. Some forms also insert themselves in some routers. These have been fixed many times in our Malware Forum.
