Restart

Hopefully someone can diagnose these problems that I have been having. I'm a photographer, I manage alot of photos and process alot of photos. The scenarios is this,...

Using Adobe Bridge I will select 1200 photos to have processed from .cr2 raw files to JPEGS for my clients to view online. My machine will use Adobe Photoshop to process them and save them in an allocated folder. Let's say a quarter of the way through, my machine will look like restarted, or stop, even though everything is still running, but blank black screen. I'll go to hit restart and nothing, nothing for about 5 min, then the machine will boot.

i talked to a couple of people, and we came down to two things, video card, and over heating issue. So,... I replaced both, I have 1GB of dedicated memory with my video card, and I went out and bought a liquid cooling system and installed both. I tried pushing it, and it worked, then.... I tried some benchmarking and it happened again. I viewed the EvntMgr and nothing out of the ordinary,....

I have Everest Ultimate if you guys need some stats on the machine. You'll havta walk me through what you need exactly so that I can produce the info.

 

This could possibly be a software issue if it's not actually restarting and is just unresponsive. Do you have all the latest updates for Photoshop etc?

 

Uptodate. But the machine actually goes to black screen,... Monitor turns off as if no video is bein fed to the monitor. After about five minutes the machine boots up like normal.

 

Understood. You really should post your PCs specs in your OP.

Also, did this just start happening? Were there any changes to the system prior to this happening?
