Restoring desktop after hijack

    after spending a whole day and six programs later i finally stopped all the hijacks i got from 1 bad download, now thru this process i couldnt get my desktop to work and when it showed it was on the restore active deesktop button background, once disinfected my desktop lost its nice green round start buttons, tried switching themes, the start classic menu options and nothing. here i have attached a screenshot in wordpad to show what the taskbar looks like. any advice would be greatly appreciated

    Not knowing what programs you used or what it removed makes it difficult to know what is happening....but to rule out any remaining malware as the cause:
    Please follow the instructions in the below link and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.
