I reinstalled Windows 7 on my PC. PC is actually running much better now.
Before I did this, I backed up the system. Whatever Windows Restore told me to do. Now I have 2Gb back up folder sitting on backup drive.
Question is - can I actually restore a PROGRAM from that back up? I'd rather not be buying Quicken again, you know.
    If it's possible - how do I?
    Thank you

Sorry to be the purveyor of bad news but no, there isn't any way way individual programs can be restored to a fresh install regardless of the method used to back them up. However, providing you still have the licence key then that should activate Quicken when reinstalled.,

No worries. Thank you. Quicken is one of the worst s/w I know anyway. I'll look into alternatives then.
