My computer indicates that I have 37.3 GB capacity with only 2.49 free space. There is nothing on this computer. how do I find out what is taking up this space?

I am assuming you have XP. You can do a disk cleanup.

I would also delete all of the files left behind in your temp folders.

Go into system restore setting and make sure the size is not set to more than 2GB for your drive.

Then use the space sniffer tool to see what space is being used.

There are some videos on their site.

The portable version of CCleaner can also be used to clean up the disk.
