Revo Uninstaller frozen

    I have been trying to help my 16 yr old clean up her computer. We uninstalled a program (don't remember which one). Revo uninstaller froze about an hour ago while searching for registry items. Should we let it continue? Shut it down and reinstall it? Any advice would be appreciated.

    The program was WebAssistant.

    Well I uninstalled Silverlight and it took a really long time. There were over 5000 registry items.

    I would not recommend cancelling. Can you select the back button in Revo? If so, try that.

    It will not go back. We will just leave it on. It's been 5 hours now. Yikes!

    If you need to shut off the computer, when you boot up, select last know good configuration because chances are high something will be corrupt.
