rmsxj.exe? and abetterinternet.nail

So I have tried just about everything to my knowledge to remove this garbage from my pc and just cant figure out what else to do other than asking some of you guys for help. I have run 5 or 6 different spyware programs but the stuff just keeps coming back. Heres my hijack this log. Thanks so much for your help in advance!!!!

Also, most of the pop-ups I get are from ad.firstsolution.com. Getting these viruses may be a result of not being able to get windows service pack 2? Thanks again.

- Please run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support

Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis and attach a log:

You are currenlty running HijackThis from a temporary location C:\Documents and Settings\matthew\My Documents\Tools\hijackthis\HijackThis.exe so please make sure you install it properly per the instructions provided in the below link. Also it is VERY important that you do not edit your log ayou did in your previous post. Please be sure to attach the whole thing when you return. An edited log leaves out crucial information we need in order to assist you effectively, including your operating system information (current build) etc.

Downloading, Installing, and Running HijackThis


When you return to make your next post, make sure you attach the following logs and that you have run these scans in the following order too (these scans are covered in steps 6 & 7 of the READ & RUN ME sticky)

• Bitdefender
• Panda Scan
• HijackThis
