rogue spyware scanner

    Avg said I had an infection and I was getting popups to download scanners, wanted to know if it was still there.

    Your antivirus needs updating or replacing with another. The current version of avg is 9. You are using 8.5.

    You could upgrade it and then tell me whether you are still getting pop up's, and whether avg is still complaining. If so, then I want the exact file path of the "threat" it is finding.

    Do not use msconfig to control what programs run at start up or not. You should now use msconfig to put the machine back into normal start up mode.

    Your logs look clean to me.
