Okay, Ive searched the WHOLE DANG INTERNET for answers... :cry

rct3's fps slows down big time during the game's night time play.
if i toggle off scenery the game speeds back up to normal.
    but this SUCKS!! :mad
    :*** :*** :*** :*** :***
    (ok girl, calm down)

i cant do anything fun if i cant see anything! and sum of these scenarios are 90% night.
(dumb of them to toggle rides/scenery/paths on one button. were they trying to save money??)

does anyone know how to cure this lag?

also if you know of a patch that will separate the objects affected by that toggle button... PLEASE let me know. ;)

    1. how old is the computer you are running this on?
    2. Do you play any other 3D enabled games on that computer, and do they run ok?
    3. Have you updated your video drivers to the latest?

also, here's the download page for any updates to the game (in case you havent checked yet)

    Okay, do this:
In WinXP, click your Start button and go to "Run..." and in the field, type in "dxdiag" (WITHOUT " " ) and hit Enter on your keyboard.

When it asks you if you want to scan for drivers, say no. Post back here with system model, BIOS version, and graphics adapter (if you don't see this one, don't sweat it), and we'll do our best to get your game up and running. :)

Gateway 1410 does not bring up a lot... Google is unable to find it and Gateway's website doesn't list it. Let's start over... desktop or laptop? If desktop, do you have a separate graphics card? How old is the PC?

Or, in short, is your computer capable of running this game? Does it meet minimum requirements? What you're describing is very similar to what will happen when trying to run a game on a PC that is not up to spec. The first thing we need to do is verify if your computer can run your game. If it can't trouble-shooting further will be a waste of time.

You need more RAM. You're running on integrated graphics and with only 512MB installed, and that adds up to far below 512MB for your game when all is said and done. With today's RAM prices, there is no excuse for having too little RAM. Get an upgrade, pronto.
