    Detected an infection of Rootkit.0Access, cleaned it with MalwareBytes, but it came back.

    Here are my logs.

    I'm not able to upload the MGLogs zip files, because it is over 18MB, due to a very large AVENGER.TXT

    Ditch the avenger text then because I do not necessarily need to see it. :)

    Sure thing.

    Oh, and I didn't save a TDSSKILLER log because it didn't find/do anything.

    The computer was acting OK yesterday, but this morning, it took a long time to boot up; in fact I thought it wasn't going to; it sat at a black screen with a working mouse for about three minutes. (No doubt while installing more stuff)

    Now its acting very slow...
    I'm going to pull the ethernet after I send this, and go to my notebook.

    I've been able to get the files I need off; if I had an OS disk, I'd just re-format...
    Looks like this is a nasty one...

    New symptom: I've left the computer running because booting up was iffy this morning, but it tis disconnected from the internet.

    Just tried messing with it a bit, and the hard drive has filled up completely...
    0 bytes free on the HD.

    Re run Hitman and under the heading "Early Warning Scoring" please have it deal with the following:
    • C:\Windows\system32\drivers\pein.sys
    • C:\Windows\system32\drivers\wrkey.sys

    Get rid of the adobe crack you have please before continue, and any other cracks!

    http://img805.imageshack.us/img805/9659/rktigzy.gif Fix items using RogueKiller.

    Double-click RogueKiller.exe to run. (Vista/7 right-click and select Run as Administrator)
    When it opens, press the Scan button
    Now click the Registry tab and locate these detections:

    • [SERVICE][ZeroAccess] HKLM\[...]\CCSet\[...]\Services : ???etadpug ("C:\Program Files\Google\Desktop\Install\{0b91842c-913c-dd5e-91ee-9429d3458e56}\ \...\???ﯹ๛\{0b91842c-913c-dd5e-91ee-9429d3458e56}\GoogleUpdate.exe" < [x]) -> FOUND
    • [SERVICE][ZeroAccess] HKLM\[...]\CS001\[...]\Services : ???etadpug ("C:\Program Files\Google\Desktop\Install\{0b91842c-913c-dd5e-91ee-9429d3458e56}\ \...\???ﯹ๛\{0b91842c-913c-dd5e-91ee-9429d3458e56}\GoogleUpdate.exe" < [x]) -> FOUND
    • [SERVICE][ZeroAccess] HKLM\[...]\CS002\[...]\Services : ???etadpug ("C:\Program Files\Google\Desktop\Install\{0b91842c-913c-dd5e-91ee-9429d3458e56}\ \...\???ﯹ๛\{0b91842c-913c-dd5e-91ee-9429d3458e56}\GoogleUpdate.exe" < [x]) -> FOUND
    • [HID SVC][Hidden from API] HKLM\[...]\CCSet\[...]\Services : . e () -> FOUND
    • [HID SVC][Hidden from API] HKLM\[...]\CS001\[...]\Services : . e () -> FOUND
    • [HID SVC][Hidden from API] HKLM\[...]\CS002\[...]\Services : . e () -> FOUND
    Place a checkmark each of these items, leave the others unchecked.
    Now press the Delete button.
    When it is finished, there will be a log on your desktop called: RKreport[2].txt
    Attach RKreport[2].txt to your next message. (How to attach)
    Reboot the machine.

    Delete this:

    C:\Windows\Tasks\{362E3131-E9E5-4D53-B873-01F87FED1B5D}

    Now re run Hitman (just a scan) and attach log.
    Same for RogueKiller.
    Run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it. Then attach the new C:\MGlogs.zip file that will be created by running this.
    Let us know of any problems you may have encountered with the above instructions and also let me know how things are running now!

    OK, got some strange results...
    First of all Hitman did not find the two files you said to delete.
    RK worked like you said, but it created two logs, both appended with [0]...

    The Adobe crack was from over a year ago when I had something go wrong with my install, and I could not find my disks.
    I had to get a rush job done for a contract job, but I have since recovered my disks, and I thought I was legit. I have done a complete re-install of Adobe Creative Suite, and I thought this would have gotten rid of the crack.
    In any event, that was a very long time ago (over a year,) so even if there are traces left, that wasn't what caused this issue, and I am legit now.

    RogueKiller aborted during its run. Could not get it to re-start, it said RogueKiller is already running...
    Running MGTools now

    Avenger.txt was insanely huge agian this time (over 230GB!!!), MGTools is still ZIPping, will upload when complete.

    Here is my MGTools log.
    The computer seems to be acting better, too soon to be certain.

    If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware.
    2. Renable your Disk Emulation software with Defogger if you had disabled it in step 4 of the READ & RUN ME.
    3. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis. If you don't see it or it will not uninstall, don't worry about it. Just move on to the next step.
    4. If running Vista, Win 7 or Win 8, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    5. Now goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click ( if running Vista, Win7, or Win 8 Right Click and Run As Administrator ) on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    6. If we had you download any registry patches like fixme.reg or fixWLK.reg (or any others) and running MGclean.bat did not remove them, you can delete these files now.
    7. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    8. If you are running Win 8, Win 7, Vista, Windows XP or Windows ME, do the below to flush restore points:
      • Refer to the instructions for your WIndows version in this link: Disable And Enable System Restore
      • What we want you to do is to first disable System Restore to flush restore points some of which could be infected.
      • Then we want you to Enable System Restore to create a new clean Restore Point.
    9. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:
