I have a Dell 1545 laptop. I was wondering if I could Rotate Word documnets from horizontal to verticle. I am a musician and this would allow me to see more of the lyric sheet when zoomed in to make the words larger.

Assuming it is MS Word you are talking about, click on Page Layout, Top left then click Orientation then that allows you to rotate from Landscape to Portrait layout if in doubt press F1 for more help whilst in Page Orientation ! :)

I am not the clearest of people. I mean rotating the MS Word document on the display of the laptop.

Follow my instructions while you have an MS Word Document open, and that should do the job ! :)
If you want to enlarge the writing on the document just press zoom in the bottom right hand corner of the document !

If your monitor can rotate, usually clockwise, by 90 degrees, then you should also
be able to rotate the entire display using the graphics driver software.

Nvidia has this capability and I occasionally do that with my 5x4 ratio 19 inch monitor.
The Nvidia Control Panel is accessed by right clicking on an empty area of the desktop.

I'm not familiar with ATI graphics software.

Although page layout does change the direction of the page that you are on, the printing of the words remain horizontal on the display. What I want to achieve is to have the words on my display screen to rotate 90 degrees and appear vertically. My computer does not have the rotation capability.

Caliban I don't need no steenkin' title!

    Greetings, joelemire.

You could take a screen capture of the page, open it with a graphics editor such as Irfanview, and then rotate to your heart's content.

This is not a solution, per se, but I've done it a couple of times for my father with music charts.

Just been googling a few things for you and you can try this Press ctrl + alt + and use arrow keys for the position.
If this don't work then Unfortunately its not possible on dell mini laptop or dell laptops as intel graphic accelerator is not installed in it and other models, the only way to find out if yours does have one installed, cotact Dell direct ! :)
