Rough Seas

means our fishing trip was postponed. In the long run it's probably a blessing in disguise as most people on the boat would likely have been uke AND it give me additional time to heal from my sunburn.

On the bright side, we are looking forward to a nice warm day (84˚F) :cool so have decided we will head over to the St. John's Town Center to look around and maybe hit the beach for a stroll. (Yes! I now have super-dooper-heavy-duty sunscreen! )

Anyone else have plans for today?

 

Sounds like fun. Me, I'm playing nursemaid. Wifey had a bunionectomy and I'm the gofer, etc. She doesn't do "lay around and do nothing" well. Gets cranky.

I am planning on watching the snow melt in my backyard. I have a bet with myself, when the last bit will be gone. Another week at least. LOL

Actually going out to look at a couple of surround sound systems to replace our older one.
Hmmm, can the old speakers be used with my PC?

This is the first time in 6 weeks I have had a drama-free house to just me and my husband, so planning on just kicking back today and going with the flow today. Some much earned R&R and seriously need to rest my shoulder up too. Tomorrow is a day for hanging out with an amazing group of friends and Daddy

 

Actually, my Dr. was telling me the other day that they now have very light weight clothing with built in SPF. How cool is that?:cool She said they bought some for her son b/c constantly slathering sun screen on a 2 year old at the beach is a bit of a pain. Apparently they sell these clothes in all sizes at Dick's sporting goods.

Hope she feels better soon...it's no fun being laid up but I can tell you having a laptop absolutely ROCKS! for those times when you can't do much else.

Yep, I seem to remember a while back, when you got sea sick on the way back from rough seas, so 'prolly just as well the trip's postponed. Wise move on the sunscreen bit, though the space suit idea sounds tempting with your complexion, lol.

My weekend has finished here. Spent most of it delivering I.T. systems down south, so I’m tired of driving. Back to a short work week tomorrow, then Easter (already!). Talk to you soon.
