What will happen if I use a router to connect two PC's to the Internet? Will each PC get half of the bandwidth?

Routers simply allow for internet sharing, but most routers on the consumer market also integrate a 4 or 5 port Switch.

The switch allows both users access to the full bandwidth of the internet connection. Each user will have 100% of the line, but obviously if both computers are using the the internet, the bandwidth will be shared by both of them.
