Started having trouble connecting to the internet today. Found out that it works when I'm connected with an ethernet cord to the modem. It is extremely spotty when connected to the router. Got on your site and ran the programs suggested. Looks to me like nothing major was found (see reports attached). Linksys Router is connecting, but not for long now.

I updated the firmware on the router just now. I also changed my passwords (which were not factory to begin with) and disabled the SSID broadcast. It's still not really connecting. I just ran tracert in my command prompt. Nothing in my house is using the router right now that I am aware of, yet the 1st 8 of the 30 hops are from a user with text in the "IP address".

I know something is wrong and am pretty savvy with a computer, but this type of attack is new to me. Help, help, help! I work from home and have so much to do...

    :cry

What a long day! Just purchased a new high class router and set it up manually (it is not compatible with Windows 8). If you could maybe review my scan logs and give any advice, it's much appreciated. Hopefully I'm good to go.

Should I completely wipe temp files and clean the other laptop that used the network as well?

    Welcome to Major Geeks!
Not unless you are having malware problems. The logs that you posted for this first computer did not show any malware issues. So apparently your router may have been broken. Especially since reprogramming the firmware will typically remove malware issues.

Since you are not having malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware.
    2. Renable your Disk Emulation software with Defogger if you had disabled it in step 4 of the READ & RUN ME.
    3. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis. If you don't see it or it will not uninstall, don't worry about it. Just move on to the next step.
    4. If running Vista, Win 7 or Win 8, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    5. Now goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click ( if running Vista, Win7, or Win 8 Right Click and Run As Administrator ) on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    6. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    7. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:
