Hi, i'm currently in the Army deployed in Iraq. I have the internet through a broadband connection going through a router i have no way of accessing. I cant seem to connect to certain p2p servers like napster (im paying, dont worry) or other programs used to pay for music. When i try to connect it never goes through and says im behind a firewall or something. I was wondering if theres anyway to get through from my current position.

2P2 need ports opening through the Router's Firewall.

Find the Router's support site it would have the documentation and instrucrions Howto.

You may need administrators rights to effect the changes, so it is best to speak to your 'network administrator' about access rights!

Given the volatility of your environment, I would imagine that certain restrictions must be placed on individual DHCP client network access, however if this type of access is acceptable, you should have no probs with the admin helping out!

Thank-you as well, for all your hard work and commitment in these trying times for us....you guys are made of steel!

    Regards from Oz.....
