    Got a USrobotics. model8000-03 router.followed instructions--no go.Any help would be appreciated.

    i cant access the internet when i connect it per the instructions.

    Ys I know what you mean all too clearly .. Starting from scratch use the reset button at rear of router using a pen or similar and hold for about 30 seconds. Unplug the power lead and wait for a few seconds then reconnect. Using your router disk insert and click on and it will take you to the router site. , then choose settings then to og on insert the letters admin.. and password in appropriate boxes. The make sure the box for ''does your internet require a log in'' this is a NO .. then tick the box for 'Get Dynamically from ISP' and that should do it .. check in control panel/double click neworkconnections-/General/Properties/highlight Internet protocol [TCPIP]/Properties/Obtain an IP automatically should be ticked.
