Hi Guys, I've got 3 CISCO routers that I'm using for my CCNA course and to set them up requires a console cable plugged into the serial port on my PC. I tend to do most of my work on my laptop while I'm downstairs using RDC, obviously if I need to change to a different router I have to climb the stairs and swap console ports. Question is, if I were to get a PCI card with 2 serial ports on it would I be able to use those to connect to the routers. I had heard a rumour that I wouldn't be able to connect to the routers on certain com ports.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Phil
