UniveRSS is a 3D RSS feed reader for Windows Vista. It leverages the Windows Presentation Foundation and provides a stunning way of visualizing RSS feeds and their content. It introduces a full-screen 3D universe where galaxies represent the folders of your RSS feed directory, and the stars are represented by the spinning cubes that hold the feed information. Size and position of the feed cubes indicate how many unread items they contain.

They mention Vista only, but wonder if it works with XP, but most likely not.

Installed it earlier, novel approach to RSS reader, but its not that quick yet, lags a bit even on a Nvidia 8800.

Thanks for the link Halo. Ya, it won't even grab the files needed in XP and you can only save the installer which doesn't call up the files when run in Vista, you have to grab it again from the link you provided. Hmm, I guess the term 'novel' expresses it best as it's too new to express a proper opinion. I only put in five feeds in as a test and I guess that's why I didn't experience any lag on my 7600GT. I only spent a few minutes toying with it so far and it's interesting, to say the least. Oh, of course Microsoft's Icon is about 5 times larger than anyone elses off to the left.rolleyes It also doesn't fit my 19" widescreen as I have to drag the screen to the left to see all of it.

It crashes before it finishes installing, so it appears you are right.

It actually installed for me, but crashed near the end.

Played again with it earlier, as you say Augie, too early to form a good opinion on this as its jerky and slow and my PC is not slow at all, maybe later once they speed it up as they refer in that link they are doing it will be ok, would be also nice if you could have this in a smaller window opposed to having it full screen.
