Hello Posh...all's fine this way thanks for asking and I hope you and yours are the same

Just keeping an eye on the old place, seeing who's about and what changes there are.

Glad to see some of the elder statespersons are still around including my two favourite Floridians plus that two-wheeling cowboy from the desert but then I best not mention anyone in particular in case I forget someone and then they might think me as being rude instead of senile...

    anyway, standing by.......

Good to see you back Rumple.

Senile? Nah. But it can be a good excuse for things you WANT to forget about. :D

Hi there GT, good to see your still around the place...guess your one of those elder statespersons I mentioned

...and you may well be right about the senile bit...much like a cellphone being real handy to get hold of someone...but also real handy to switch off when you don't want to be found!!

    cindysnoopy Shotgun!

I was wondering where you had gotten to. Great to see you around!!

Working on any new projects? Eric and I have been redoing our room. You'd be proud. He built me some really nice custom cabinets and shelves up in our loft bed, and a window seat. Next comes the built-in entertainment center. I knew he was good, but I didn't know he was THIS good!! :D

If state of confusion qualifies for statesperson, I guess I qualify. Mainly I'm just too stubborn to quit. :D

hello cindy, now that's thrown me a mite...not sure if it's impolite to call a lady an "elder" statesperson but all the same glad to see you and Eric are around still.

As for projects, I'm ashamed to say the answer is no not really. We have bought a caravan and spend as much spare time as we can touring around the UK. Have to post a piccy or two sometime. I know it'll be quite tiny to american standards but don't forget we only live on a small island and driving a big Winnebago or towing an Airstream over here could be quite something!

...confusion GT...nah not something to be levied against you not by a long chalk...mmmmm might take a while to get used to the board again...finding out where all the bits and pieces and doodads hang out!!

LOL. The first "new" car I ever bought was a 1970 MG Midget. Size and fun don't always go hand-in-hand. Would love to see some pics. :)

mmmmm...might be talking at crossed porpoises here GT. A caravan is like a mobile home that you tow behing your car and as soon as I've recalled how to reduce the pic down I'll put one up so you can see our little ol' tin tent!!

...as for the Midget...it's quite some time since I would have fitted into one!!

No, I understood what a caravan was. Just noting that it doesn't have to be BIG to be good. I actually weight less now than when I bought the MG, but I wouldn't want the contortions needed to enter/exit one anymore myself. ;)

Great picture Rumple. Looks like a cozy home away from home. And it's not all that small.

my apologies GT, I should have known better shouldn't I!!

a for contortions to enter/exit a car, I was thinking of buying a Lotus Elan a number of years ago and eventually having coiled myself like a spring to get into the thing, I then found out my two size 12 feet could only fit side by side and they covered all three pedals. The dealer then had to help me get out of the car which was a job in itself!

heck I've just been reminded it's 1.30am so I guess i'll call it a day...or is it night...or is it morning even.......thanks for the chat GT it's up the wooden hill time for me. Have a good evening and maybe we can link up tomorrow. Nite nite. :)

LOL. I had a very large cousin that managed to get behind the wheel of my MG, but couldn't drive it, and couldn't get out. He ended up dragging himself out by his arms onto the ground. I would have been more help to him if I wasn't laughing so hard.

Sure is nice to cyber-hear and see you guys again.

Eric: mmm...bit worrying that you should be thinking of me and now here I am....spooky they call it i believe! I hear you've been tuning in to your creative side at home Eric. It can become contagious you know, no known cure even!

Phanters: Glad that your around too. I hope things are ok with you as if I recall correctly life wasn't treating you none too well last time we spoke.

Chris: Very pleased and quietly surprised to see you about oh aeronautical person. I sincerely hope her ladyship is well also. "Ma'am" (as he doffs his hat and tugs his forelock).

    Almost like coming home!
