    None.

Aside from putting a checkbox in show all updates.

    That requires a different application.

OK, just a thought here, but you would likely get more assistance on this matter in the software forum. I know there are some heavy hitters in there that i do not see in here on a regualr basis.

Thanks UKARMYCADET, for some I have missed before.:cool

    I use SlickRun

    www.bayden.com/dl/sr-upgrade.exe

and have lots of them already loaded, as MagicWords.

No need for icons, or shortcuts on your desktop, no need to go to Start-->Run :D
SlickRun is my most used, essential, program.:major :major

I have put it in alphabetical order so it is easyer to quick scan for what you want.

The most interesting commands are "msconfig" also "ipconfig /all"

    dont add any "".

Also dont bother remembering them all, just have them there on hand.

    And no problem BAZZA

Bazza i installed it since you put it onto this post. No body uses it because no one has heard of it.
Ask major attitude to put it on the front page for a couple of days then a lot of people will use it.

Have already done this previously. :D
It was one of the long list that I submitted to M.A. that resulted in the last revision to the "Must Have Free Downloads" page.:major

Scroll down to the bottom of http://www.majorgeeks.com/page.php?id=20
    for M.A.'s comments. :D

He has elected not to include it at this stage, or still has it under consideration / negotiation (with the Author). ;) Bazza

Not sure what you're after, but you can take the 'hidden' attribute off of a hidden file using the attrib command.

    Code:
    Displays or changes file attributes.

    ATTRIB [+R | -R] [+A | -A ] [+S | -S] [+H | -H] [drive:][path][filename]
           [/S [/D]]

      + Sets an attribute.
      - Clears an attribute.
      R Read-only file attribute.
      A Archive file attribute.
      S System file attribute.
      H Hidden file attribute.
      [drive:][path][filename]
Specifies a file or files for attrib to process.
/S Processes matching files in the current folder
          and all subfolders.
      /D Processes folders as well.
Or, if you're still looking to show hidden programs in Add/Remove programs, see post #6

    Start, run, and type:

    C:\windows\inf\sysoc.inf

    Click OK.

In the future, please note that it is best to make a new thread, and not bump one that is 6 months old.

Also not sure what you mean. ;)

    Try Start-->Control Panel-->Folder Options-->View Tab--->Files and Folders
    --->Hidden Files and Folders.

Then tick (check) or untick (uncheck) either "Do not show Hidden files and Folders" or "Show Hidden files and Folders". Depends what you want.

Is this what you are after? confused Bazza
