I have a flash drive with Ubuntu 11.04 installed on it. My school recently issued a Mac laptop to every student in our school and I really do not like the OS it has on it, especially for home use. I have a 32GB flash drive that I have Ubuntu on with persistent storage, but I'm unsure how to get it to load on my computer. I have no administrator rights and I'm sure if I asked the administrator he would discourage it, not helping me. Would I have to go through Bootcamp, which requires the administrator password, or can I just boot into it when it is loading? I have absolutely no experience with Macs before this.
