Run time errors.

When I try to load up (some) pages on the internet I get run time errors. It asks me if I want to debug the page or script or something. I also get a runtime error when I try to update my norton system works program. I can't download the common client update because of it. My computer starts freezing up too. Does that have anything to do with it?

What are runtime errors and how do I fix them?

Don't take my word for it, but I think run-time errors are errors on the web page itself, or errors in a script that the web page tries to execute. If you go under internet options, then the advanced tab, look for two check boxes as shown below and make sure they're unchecked. This may clear up some of the problem... only solution I could think of, man

I tried doing that already, but I still get some run time error messages.

I going to try checking and unchecking some other box's in the hope that it will do something to help.

 

Well... hmmm. Are they the same web pages everytime, or will you occasionally get one of those errors accessing this site, even? I may be way off base here, but maybe you should check for any updates or patches for the browser you're using. Perhaps the browser is to blame for not interpreting the scripts correctly?
