    Hello all

I'm trying to fix up my dads computer. He has a beauty of a machine but he has it running horribly and full of crap. Anyway a few hours later the computer is running very well except for one problem.

When windows starts up, a RUNDLL error comes up pointing to the path
    system32\rluwqi81.dll and says 'access denied'.

I have no idea what RUNDLL is to be honest, but thought it would be a simple fix. Alas, I've scoured google and this forum and don't seem to be able to find an identical problem.

It doesn't seem to affect anything, I just click ok, it goes away and that is the end of it. I can't tell if there is any bigger problem but I'd like to know how to get rid of it!

    Thanks in advance :)

Have you been cleaning out malware?

system32\rluwqi81.dll is not a valid Microsoft file. You should be suspicious of any non Msoft file in windows or sytem32. Some malware generates file names of random characters to avoid being recognised by name. So this may be left over from a cleanup.

Stop the calling program in msconfig and test to see if the system is still OK.
If Ok then restart in normal mode and delete reference from the registry at
    HKLM\software\micrsoft\windows\currentversion\run

Or go to the malware section if you want an in depth look.
