Hi and thanks for the help,

    The exact error I get:

"Windows cannot find 'C:Windows\system32\rundll.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the Start button, and then click search."

I get the above error when I try to click on my clock to look at the calendar, and also noticed my sound is not working today - so I went into control panel, clicked on 'Sound and Audio Devices' and again, the message came up.

Any help on how to repair would be great, thanks!

    Hi

Have you had any malware reciently or have you been cleaning up your PC files and deleting things?

    Which Windows version?

Possible if that file is now missing its corrupt or deleted and you will likely need your XP or OS cd to run the following to try and recover that system file

To do this simply go to the Run box on the Start Menu and type in:

    sfc /scannow ( do note the space between c and / )
