Rundll32.exe Application Error

    Hi, I'm new here.

    I was wandering if anyone could help me?
    everytime I log on, I type in my password for my user, then I get an rundll32.exe - application error saying,

    "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005). Click on OK to terminate the application."

    After this, it shows my wallpaper and nothing else, sometimes everything loads after a while, but usually nothing does so I have to start something from task manager before everything else loads.

    I have AVG anti-virus 7.5 and have run and removed all the infections found but it keeps coming up.

    Could Someone please help me out seeing as this is real irrataing and I would really appreciate any help given.

    sorry for double posting,

    but i forgot to mention that, i can't use add/remove programs, display properties and other basic system things like that, same error message keeps popping and i have to click it twice before it disappears. And i can't log into sites like Myspace, and Yahoo and stuff.

    any help appreciated, Thank you.

    i scanned with all programs given to me in the "Windows XP Cleaning Procedure" and i posted the logs with each scan in an attachment.

    My computer seems to be running perfect now that i restarted it. So i don't think you'll be needing the logs from the scans. I just wanted to say i really appreciate all the help you guys gave me. Thankyou so much!

    Actually I would like to see the MGLogs.zip.

    I notice you are running both AVG7.5 and McAfee Security Center. And I see some garbage in the combo log. So although you may be running better, you probably are not clean. :(

    Looks good ..let's just do these:

    Please use add/remove programs to uninstall:
    Either Avg7.5 Anti-virus or McAfee
    J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 3"
    Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment 6

    Please disable all anti-virus and anti-spyware programs while we do the following:

    Run C:\MGtools\analyse.exe by double clicking on it(Note: if using Vista, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator). This is really HijackThis (select Do a system scan only) and select the following lines but DO NOT CLICK FIX until you exit all browser sessions including the one you are reading in right now:
    NOTE: HJT may popup an error about the AppInit_DLLs line. Ignore it and click OK to continue.

    After clicking Fix, exit HJT.

    Now Copy the bold text below to notepad. Save it as fixME.reg to your desktop. Be sure the "Save as" type is set to "all files" Once you have saved it double click it and allow it to merge with the registry.
    Now reboot and install:
    Java Runtime 6

    Tell me if you have any other issues. :)
