I would like to run a batch file automatically every 30minutes on a networked Win2000.
    Any suggestions?

One workstation? Several? From the server? What does being networked have to do with it?

    Good Questions:
I am trying to get the time from a "main" computer and transfer it to other computers in a workgroup network every 30 minutes. I thought I could put a batch file into each of computers using the following information I received from another post shown below. I even looked for a software package that does this for a workgroup using win2000 computers to no avail.

    Any other ideas greatly appreciated.

You need to set the sntp setting as the "main computer" and sync it.
You can see your sntp setting by:
Go to command prompt. (Start - Run - type CMD)
at the command prompt, type in: net time /querysntp
this will show you the current sntp server you are using.
You can change this to your "main computer" by typing:
    net time /setsntp:"main computer"
you can sync your time by:
    net time /set /y

Just another question....why clock sync every 30 minutes?

I run a little program in my machine called Atomic Clock Sync and its sync the clock once each day. The software clock in the computer shouldn't drift more than 1/10 second within a day.
