I have suspicious activities while surfing the internet. No big surprise. I decided to download Tweeking.com Windows Repair All in One program from your site. I want to run it to remove the bad stuff on my new laptop. Step one is to completely discharge the power by unplugging and pressing power button 5 times or in my case to remove the battery. Well, I can not do that. The reason is because the new laptop I bought does not have a removable battery. Yes it has a battery but Acer recommends I ship it to Texas to have them replace it when the time comes since the battery is enclosed within the housing. That makes it difficult for me to discharge the memory which I understand is important. Would anyone recommend running without doing step 1 or is there another way to completely drain the power? I have bought a new Acer Aspire 14 Model R3-471T and the jury is still out on if I like it as I was not aware that the battery is not removable by simple means when I purchased it. Thoughts....Advise please?

Step one is no such thing. Don't know where that came from but you are heading in the wrong direction anyway. You want to run malwarebytes and try and clean your computer. Windows Repair is handy if you have issues after cleaning the PC. For further help if a scan does not work, visit our malware forum or explain better what "I have suspicious activities while surfing the internet" means.

Instead of arguing with me, why don't you simply reply that he does not need to remove his battery?

As I said, removing the battery is not needed but then again the point here is that this program is not going to remove anything, he needs to do a malware scan.
