I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v173/star17abby/Smilies/cry.gif *hugs* I know only to well what you are going through so if there is anything I can do to help you thorough this, please feel free to contact me anytime.

I lost two granddaughters several years ago....one passed away on Good Friday, she was 2 months old and her twin passed away the following year on Easter Sunday. I like to think of them as my Easter Angels and focus. While I often wonder what life would hold for them had they lived, I'm grateful for the time I had to be with them, know them and love them. Their brother, born at the same time is doing well.

Remember the good and hold those moments you treasure close to your heart...the smiles or giggles...how it felt to hold her in your arms...that wonderful baby smell, especially right after a bath...that silky soft skin....the way she would grip your finger or hand..or even grab a handful of hair! These good memories will help ease your pain. It may not seem that way now, but in time to come you'll remember certain things with a smile rather than tears.:)

Thank you, all for your good wishes. There is a short story I would like to share with you. I did not mention but my granddaughter was 8 years old. There was a friend of her who lived across the way from her they were both born in the same week. From birth they were always together and I remember that every time we were over there he was always there and if you had to look for her it was never hard to know where to look. Even as she grew up and only invited girls to her birthday parties there was always one boy present. On the day she passed away he was at a friend and his parents decided not to tell him about it until he came home. When they told him he got very annoyed that they had not told him so he could have gone to the funeral, as he wanted to tell her how he felt and say good bye. They say should write a letter to her parents telling them how he felt. No he said I am going to write her a letter and take it down to her grave and give to her. This he did, came home and went into his room locked the door and cried for about ten minutes, after which he came out said to his parents that he is okay now and went out to play.

Thank you for sharing that very moving story. I know it can't be easy for you all. Touching to see such human bonding in children so young. You will find strength in each other, I'm sure. ~ Best wishes, always.
