Safe Mode Login Does Not Work

I am trying to run HSRemove prgram. To get started I need to enter Safe Mode as first step. When I try to do this, it will not accept my windos login password. Even though the password works when not in safe mode. Any ideas?

System Info: Windows XP, Intel PIII 542 MhZ, 256 MB RAM

are you logging in as the Administrator, or are you using your personal account? try logging in as the Administrator...

 

I think I may have found my issue, but still need some help.....

During standard mode (non safe mode) when I go to log in, I am actually logging into a work domain. (This is my laptop from work). I can select other domains to log into, such as "this computer". When I do this, the password from my work domain does not work.

When I try and log in during safe mode, the only choice is to log into "this computer", which I apparently do not remember the password for. (I thought they automatically updated and matched - I guess not)

So the new question is, how can I found out what my login password is?
