If you are running Windows XP and can find it on eBay - find Visual Page for the PC. Or if you have a Mac - get Visual Page for the Mac. (It runs under System 9.). This antiquated program still produces the best and tightest code without all of the garbage many modern day web page programs dump into their output. The closest program to Visual Page in today's world is Kompozer (which is free). Visual Page is around $6.00. Both of these programs do one thing that ticks me off - but I can live with. They both put extraneous break commands (<BR>) into the output file. I just delete them afterwards. Use the 0.8b3 (I think I got that right) version. They are working on the next release but don't use it yet - it crashes. I use the above version at work under Windows 7 and don't have any problems with it.

http://www.codeproject.com/. When ever I am in a bind and decide to search google for some help codeproject pops up and generally answers any questions.

Regarding your question about your forms application you would like to create, you would want to use either PHP or ASP.
