Safemode Theme change

    I was running some antivirus programs in safemode yesterday and I rebooted to regular mode and my theme was the classic windows theme. I went to change it back and nothing happends, Now im stuck on this theme from 1995...

    Anyone know how to fix this?

    I even tried windowblinds to cover it up and that doesn't work aswell :O

    Assuming your using XP, and do you have the CD?

    You may have accidentally deleted a theme file, or the themes service is stopped or disabled for some reason.

    Go to Start, run and type in services.msc then OK.

    Scroll down to Themes and double-click, then make sure it's Started AND on Automatic.

    It makes it difficult if you don't have a Windows CD, are you sure you don't have one?

    Also, have you tried setting it on Classic, rebooting then reversing your actions?
