Sagem v56 usb cable

Hi all,
Just purchased a usb cable so that i can transfer data from the phone to the pc and vice versa. I installed the driver necessary from the website given and all installation procedures run correctly and the driver is installed and it recognizes the phone. How do i now access all the media and picture files present on the phone by using the pc. Is there a software needed to carry out such a task. I thought it should come up as removable storage but it hasn't.

What type of phone do you have and what service?

 

I have a Sagem my v56, and the service i use is vodafone, hope this helps.

 

Ehh, I'm not very familiar with Vodafone... I had the same problem with my Samsung A940 until I transfered everything to my memory card and attached that to my pc. The v56 does have infared though so maybe yu could try transferring it through there. Chances are though, that phone just wont allow you transfer any files.
