Sata Compatability

    Im in the market for a new harddrive and am going to get a sata drive, heres the question: My mobo supports sata 150, If I get a sata 3.0 Gb/s will it be compatable?

    Yes

    They are backwards compatitable, some SATA II drives will have a jumper to set the drive to 1.5 or 3.0 GB/s others are auto
