Satr-up task bar issue.

I have a task bar issue going on here.

I have ran:
cleandesktop
ccleaner
spybot
AVG full edition - on HDD out of box.
Spyware doctor - on HDD out of box.

I have already cleaned up psma.exe and r_server.exe. Explorer is working great, but I have a flakey task bar. I cannot accesss start menu using the windows key either. The start button is a big black box of mockery. I cannot access the properties on it either. If I rerun cleandesktop, the task bar returns to normal.
Is there a task bar hijacker out there I should look for?
Is there a way to see what cleandesktop is removing or inactivating?

This is a Celeron D box running Windows 2000 pro on it. My buddy refuses to upgrade. He thinks his system is the bomb.

Help Keith out first he is going to have a heart-attack. Lol

 

I have tracked it down to remnants of the OpenGL screen saver he is using. The start up button goes black and all the icons disappear after it stops and returns to desktop. Cleandesktop resets explorer which resets the task bar. Disabled the screen saver and have had no issues since.

If you would us to check everything just run the steps below and attach the requested logs.

 

I looked at the HJT scan and it seems okay. I think the OpenGL screensaver is causing issues with the video on the comp. It is an old system, and he d/l'd a 3D screen saver. I have an older PCI vid card that will update his graphics level. I think this should resolve the issue.
