Saving Outlook 2010 e-mails outside of Outlook

I am using Outlook 2010, and have a large number of e-mails that I want to save outside of outlook (preferably in either Word or HTML or *.msg format). My first question is is this possible? Secondly, and maybe more important can I do it with groups of e-mails? I am looking to save hundreds of e-mails and would really like to be able to mark them all (or at least large groups of them) and do a "batch" save.

Is there any way to do this? I am running Win 7 SP1, and Office 2010.
