scam busting

I take it that this was the CH4 documentary http://www.channel4.com/programmes/secrets-of-pickpockets-shoplifters-scammers/episode-guide Ep 2 on Scammers.

Was good but I get the feeling that the ones 'scam baiting' and facing up to the scammers are a bit vigilante. I forget if they were part of a named group you could join, but in the main you can report any scams you come across on various authorities websites

Some things to research on yourself would be 419 scams, Scam Baiters etc would have posed a few links I just found but I'd have to research them more myself and don't really wish to drag this forum into that world of baiting scammers.
