Scan, Doc management SW?

Hey, my customer has been using Papermaster Pro to scan and organize their documents. It works sweet as could be for them--when it works. Recently the mdb file just got corrupted, which they fixed, but its also very difficult to keep the networked components working. And Papermaster tells us to contact digital river who tell us to contact papermaster who tell us...

What it does so nicely is put everything in cabinets and folders.

So, are there any replacements for this?
