scan

    I have a "scan" window that appears at startup and will disappear only after alt+delete, end now. The window says "The feature you are trying to use is on a CD-ROM or other removable disk that is not available. Insert the 'scan'disk and click OK." I have no 'scan' disk! How can I get rid of this?

    This does not appear to be a malware problem. It is more likely related to a missing component for some software you have installed. You probably should post in the software forum. But be more specific. What is a "scan" window? And what do you mean 'scan' disk? Is that really exactly what these Windows say.

    You do show some malware though. Uninstall WeatherBug using Add/Remove programs.

    Do you know what the below is:
    O4 - Startup: Axe_Updates.lnk = C:\Program Files\AXE Channel\axe_dcu.exe
