Hi & thank you guys for all your help!

I have a Dell Dimension 8300 & a Dell A940 Printer/Scanner. I have to scan large amounts of photos to edit. I'm scanning them into Ulead Photo Impact version 10. The problem is after I scan some I get this error message "data bytes written by the data source exceed the transfer buffer size" and then I can't scan anymore. I have to close Photo Impact & shut the printer hoping things will reset, sometimes this doesn't work & I have to restart the PC. Could you tell me if the problem comes from the printer or Photo Impact and if there is anything that can be done about it?
    Thanks
