I was wondering if there was anyway to access DOS on a Restricted Computer. It is running Windows 2000 and restricts the user from accessing that kind of stuff by going to start and selecting run because its not there. does anyone know ow to access it anyother way???

It all depends how smart the admin of the system is. You can maybe open up the run menu by using the hotkeys (windows+r) and then access it that way.

You can maybe just browse to it in explorer and double click it as well (C:\WINDOWS\system32\cmd.exe).

Usually you cvan open a command prompt by doing this. Although it really depends on how smart your admin is.

If its blocked by the school admin don't do it. You don't need to be in there. Nor do you need access to the dos prompt. If you get caught you can loose privileges on the school network and also be expelled.
