scrathed dvd

    how can you fix a dvd that is badly scratched.

    Depends how deep the scratches are, but you can use either toothpaste or brasso and a very soft lint free cloth to polish them out if they are light scratches, but do not rub in a circular ( following the grooves ), rub from edge of disk to center and back.

    I agree with halo. Brasso has normally worked for me if the scratches arn't too bad.

    The direction of the cleaning in important!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Brasso's the best in my opinion, just make sure you don't let it set on the disk too long or else you'll be scrubbin that puppy until armageddon. It also works really good on ipods.
