    :cry

I need help big time. I did all the malware removal procedures and the logs will be attached.

There is also a log attached from CounterSpy ThreatNet that will show where my problem originally came from.

And yes, before anyone asks; i was looking at some porn on my home computer, and i am over 21. So who doesnt at some point in time or other?

I had already removed the SpyLock and SpyDawn files and the Zlog folder before even thinking to come here. But a part of the whole bloody trojan was a codec that has gotten into my start programs area and is a blinking blue and white circle that blinks into a red circle with a line thru it. And it pops up a message that says:

System Alert! System has detected a number of active spyware applications that may impact the performance of your computer. Click the icon to get rid of unwanted spyware by downloading and up-to-date antispyware solution.

And when you click on the icon, it leads right back to a Spylock page, and i am not stupid enough to download it a second time.

So that blinker just sits there, slowing my system down, and if i am playing an offline game; it somehow or other actually forces the game to minimize each time the pop-up notice comes on.

I am about ready to scream bloody murder, or do a reformat; but thats just as bad.

    Please help fast!

    Thanks,

Went to attach runkeys.txt, and newfiles.txt. Lost somewhere. grrrrrrrrrrr
The bdscan.txt saved as a html and wont attach. So here is the HiJackThis changed to analyse.exe log.

The first thing you need to do is re-run counterspy and have it remove/quarantine everything it finds!!

Then re-run the other scans and see if you can attach the logs.

    C:\Program Files\analyse.exe\HijackThis.exe ---> should be C:\Program Files\HJT\analyse.exe

:banghead Back again, just forget the help. Turned on pc after work and the damn thing took 15 minutes to load everything. Something is definitely taking over my system.

So am not going to keep running stuff, i am just going to F4 it.

    Bye

The READ ME explains this to you! It tells you to just rename the html file to .txt and upload the .txt file.

Yes the majority of the take over was probably all the processes and services that McAfee was running. Take a look at all of it in your HJT log. Uninstall ALL of McAfee and see how it runs.

Did you ever let CounterSpy fix all of the Zlob infections that you had from downloading all those infected codecs?
