screen slows down

    I've been playing this game above, clash-of-the-olympians
    , its a flash game? but its all online(and free) and Im at the last level and there is a lot of graphics on the screen and everything slows down to a crawl..
    how do I reduce the screen resolution to make it not slow down, or what can I do to not allow the slow down
    the game saves via cookies, so I cant use CCleaner or anything..
