    Hello,
I cannot change any screen savers, through desktop or control panel.
Can anyone offer any advice? Thanks in advance:confused:

There is an option in display/settings /advanced/ that can be checked or unchecked, you will want to see if it set to , restart before changing, or ask before changing. Check that out. ed

    Under the category : Compatability
It is checked to: Apply the new display settings without restarting.
    Is that correct ?

You would have to get more specific, like why you cant change it. What happens when you try?

All 3 users on this system used to be able to change to any screen savers thru the drop down choices.I'm able to preview all of them, change the time, or make changes to desktop, but when the screen savers kicks in, it isn't the one I changed to. I can test all the options for all screen savers in System32,
but the file scrnsave.scr is blank when I test it. The screen is black.
